PACCAR Announces Teaching Excellence Award

July 19, 2006, Bellevue, Washington PACCAR recently announced the winner of the prestigious PACCAR Award for Teaching Excellence at the University of Washington Graduate School of Business.  Mark Forehand, Associate Professor of Marketing and International Business, was honored as the recipient for 2006.  The award is given annually to the professor voted the best teacher by UW Business School M.B.A. students and earns the recipient a substantial monetary award.

PACCAR has an outstanding tradition of supporting higher education and is pleased to recognize Professor Forehand for teaching excellence, said Mark C. Pigott, PACCAR chairman and chief executive officer.  Professor Forehand is the ninth honoree of the PACCAR Award for Teaching Excellence.

Winning the PACCAR teaching award is a tremendous honor, Professor Forehand said, and carries great meaning to me since it comes directly from the students.  Moving forward, the award will provide support which will facilitate the development of my research and further the evolution of my course materials.
