Stationary Frame Mount Fifth Wheel (FMA) More strength, less weight. Fontaine's Frame Mount Fifth Wheel is ideal for dolly applications and is offered in a wide range of mounting heights. The Frame Mount Fifth Wheel incorporates the NO-SLACK® II standard or the 5092 heavy-duty top plates. Choose either top plate; both are built with low-alloy, high-tensile formed steel and are designed for uniform surface lubrication. A heavy-duty steel substructure provides reinforced strategic load-bearing areas and high structural integrity. Our patented locking system automatically eliminates any fifth wheel slack and includes an integral secondary safety lock to prevent false coupling and premature trailer release. The one-piece cast saddle bearings are built with large grease grooves to ensure uniform grease flow and coverage.
