  • Supplier Quality Certification

PACCAR requires that the following performance criteria be met before a supplier with 12 months of PACCAR product history be nominated for Quality Certification. Maintaining Quality Certification is based on rolling 6-month performance.

    1. Maintain a non-conforming parts (NCP) rate of less than 50 ppm (parts per million).

    2. Maintain a warranty claims rate less than 50 ppm (1 claim per 20,000 receipts).

    3. Production Parts Approval Process (PPAP) submission acceptance rate of 98% and On-time Submission Rate of greater than or equal to 99% for the prior 6 months.

    4. Have a quality system in compliance with QS-9000, ISO/TS-16949 or ISO-9001(2000).

    5. Initial Quality Certification will require passing a PACCAR Supplier Readiness Review.

Certified suppliers are recognized for their achievement by a plaque that they may mount in their place of business.

Please refer to PACCAR's Supplier Quality Standard, which is available on the PACCAR SupplierNet, for more detailed information.
