The purpose of this guide is to familiarize current or potential suppliers with the PACCAR Purchasing organization, our objectives, and goals.

PACCAR Purchasing is responsible for providing procurement leadership, coordination and strategy for PACCAR's worldwide divisions and subsidiaries. Our mission is to enhance PACCAR's long-term profitability and growth by:

• Identifying and developing a managed, consolidated SUPPLY BASE of financially viable, efficient, technologically advanced suppliers who are involved in the development and delivery of products/services and linked to their suppliers as well as PACCAR through supply management agreements.
  
  
• Securing the highest QUALITY products/services which add value to PACCAR's manufacturing processes and operations and which result in the lowest total cost, highest perceived value and total customer satisfaction.
  
  
• Implementing effective SYSTEMS and PROCESSES supporting an efficient, paper-less exchange of information between PACCAR, its suppliers and their suppliers.
