October 23, 2003, Bellevue, Washington – British Ambassador Sir David Manning presented PACCAR chairman and chief executive officer Mark Pigott with an honorary award, the OBE (Order of the British Empire), in recognition of exceptional services dedicated toward strengthening business ties between the U.K. and U.S.A.

This is a wonderful day for PACCAR,” said Mark Pigott. “The development of PACCAR’s business in the U.K., with the acquisition of Foden Trucks and British Leyland, has been steadily growing for 23 years. The U.K. is a major cornerstone of PACCAR’s success globally.”
