Communications Manager

- Draft and distribute press releases – a minimum of 40 annually
- Provide support to annual shows and exhibits – such as Peterbilt’s annual Dealer Meeting, Mid-America Trucking show and regular customer showcase events
- Provide budget and logistics oversight for all shows and exhibits – as well as the Peterbilt National Mobile Tour
- Provide script and copywriting support for executive presentations, press releases, brochures and web copy
- Coordinate all press events
- Develop two-way communications with editorial staffs to become a responsive source for editors
- Participate in truck industry communications activities on behalf of Peterbilt, provide support for local Denton public relation efforts, and coordinate with PACCAR corporate public affairs requests
- Provide oversight of Peterbilt’s web site to provide content and community to Peterbilt site visitors

SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Skilled use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with technical departments (such as Engineering, Information Technology, and Program Management

| EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelors Degree in Communications or a related area
