Mudflap Basics
The two basic materials for truck mudflaps are rubber or polyethylene.
Rubber flaps typically outsell polyethylene due to their lower cost and longer life.
Polyethylene flaps provide great surfaces to heat stamp your custom logo, multi color logos can be used.
There are five designs of Rubber Flaps – all rubber flaps are black rubber.
Pyramid Design - #1 selling flap – low cost, chevron design, 24"wide x 24", 30" or 36" length
Heavy Duty - Popular for "Custom Logos" – thicker than Pyramid - 24"wide x 24", 30" or 36" length *
Anti-Sail - Very HD , with or without metal insert – will accept logo 24"wide x 30" or 36" length
All Weather - Nubbed surface controls road spray, will accept logo 24"wide x 24", 30" or 36" length
Truck Trailer - Anti-sail, metal mount can be cut for 45o brackets 24"wide x 30" or 36" length
There are three designs of Polyethylene Flaps – Poly flaps are available in white or black material.
Poly-Gloss - High gloss surface, rounded lower corners, will accept logo 24"wide x 24", 30" or 36" length *
Poly-Matte - Dual matte finish, square lower corners, will accept logo 24"wide x 24", 30" or 36" length
Poly-No Spray - Ribbed surface controls road spray, will accept logo 24"wide x 24", 30" or 36" length
Custom Imprint Specifications - Sell your name, along with your flaps, Keep you name rolling down the road.
Proprietary Custom Logo Flaps are available from the PDC
Custom Logo Flaps with your dealer name, or your fleet customer are available through the DSP program.
Custom Imprint Set-Ups are very user friendly
Your standard size truck mud flap has a logo print area of 18" x 18". Most artwork, letterhead, or drawings can be used to set up your customized flap.
Black Rubber custom logo flaps have a raised molded imprint that is painted. Up to three colors can be used.
Typically lighter or brighter colors work best with rubber flaps.
Polyethylene custom logo flaps make excellent logo flaps, Graphics are heat stamped onto the flap to provide a durable and lasting logo.
Pictures, logos, symbols, etc can be scanned for use. Multi colors are easy and the white flaps provide a great background.
